Styling Miu Miu's Python Cutout Boots

In the span of a week, Shoewawa drooled over these boots (a post which seems to have been removed) and declared them the ugly shoe of the week. So unjust! While I'd rather pay rent for over six months than buy these python cutout boots from Miu Miu, they are fun to dream about. The curves of the cutouts give them an Art Nouveau feel while the total effect of the boot leans toward gladiator. The heel is blue and purple with black jewels; the link above will give you a better look.

Of course, such a shoe always makes me wonder what I'd wear with it. Feminine silhouettes would tone down the harsh warrior feeling, and subdued colors would brighten things up while still keeping the focus on the boot I would have to sell a kidney to buy.
